Congratulations to Madeleine Yang '19 for her selection as one of two students chosen from the State to be a U.S. Presidential Scholar. Scholars are selected each year by the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars based on their academic success, artistic and technical excellence, essays, school evaluations and transcripts, community service, leadership and commitment to high ideals. One male and one female from each state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and U.S.families living abroad.
