National History Day is an educational competition designed to encourage students to explore historical subjects while offering a fascinating opportunity to learn through hands-on study. This past weekend, Liana Lau '20, competed in the 2019 State Final Event at Bay City High School in Bay City, Michigan. Liana qualified for the National Contest to be held at the University of Maryland, College Park just outside of the nation’s capital from June 9 - 13. Liana’s individual research paper entitled, Triumph and Tragedy: The Breath-Taking Stink, will be competing with students from all over the United States. Congratulations, Liana, and good luck at Nationals!
