Winston Gillum ('24) joined thousands of people across the globe trying to set a Guiness World Record for the most hair collected in a 24 period to benefit kids impacted by hair loss. The main event, The Great Cut, was hosted in San Diego, CA on Saturday, March 16 but those that are not able to attend are given the option to mail in their hair. The previous record was set in San Jan, Puerto Rico on October 14, 2018 where more than 2,000 people donated 338 pounds of hair during a beauty event. Winston donated 12 inches of his hair. All the hair collected will be used to make wigs for kids that suffer from hair loss. We don't think the results are in yet for The Great Cut event, but Winston did his part!
