The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, New York held its fourth annual photo contest which aims to discover, support, and promote the next generation of image makers. Open to all 7th-12th grade and community college student photographers, the participants for the annual contest submitted beautiful work. Each year they award several students Images of Distinction and one Excellence award. Congratulations to two Images of Distinction winners from DCDS: Chloe Kiruluk (black and white image of girl) and Ariana Zarghami (uniformed man).
Winners of Distinction receive a prize bag from the RIT photo store as well as a year subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud photography software package for both themselves and their instructor. The winner of the Excellence award receives a subscription for a year to the entire Adobe Creative Suite for both student and instructor.
